Mark Irwin, a Northeasterner transplanted to Nashville in '87, swiftly made waves. His first cut, Randy Travis's "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe," set the stage. Co-writing Alan Jackson's inaugural No. 1 hit, "Here In The Real World," marked the beginning of his prolific career. From chart-toppers like Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care" to credits on albums by Garth Brooks and Jimmy Buffet, Irwin's songcraft resonates. Mark’s latest cuts have been on Lainey Wilson’s Grammy winning album “Bell Bottom Country” and on the new Tim McGraw album “Standing Room Only”…along with songs on newcomers Ben Gallaher, Tucker Beathard, Ian Flanagan and Randall Fowler.

Two decades later, her compositions grace albums of country stars like Tim McGraw, with hits like "7500 OBO" and the Grammy-nominated "Two Lanes of Freedom." Mickey Guyton's debut single, "Better Than You Left Me," further solidified her prowess, recognized by Billboard. In an improbable encounter just outside The Women's Correctional Facility of Tallulah, Louisiana, itinerant musician Pete Wood from London picked up hitchhiker Tracey Cayolle, a guitar-slinger from New Orleans. Historical studies vaguely place this meeting between October 31st, 1896, and May 25th, 2072. Guided by forces of chance, chaos, and fate, they journeyed to Clarksdale, Mississippi, allegedly following an esoteric route chosen with cards and dice. In a shotgun shack with wine, steaks, and a microphone, they recorded an album titled "THE PISTOL & THE QUEEN" after five days and nights. Currently based in Memphis, TN, they continue their Southern travels, creating new music at their own pace.
Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, a musical duo and couple since 1986, embody the enduring power of love, evident in their latest album, "All This Time." Their journey began in a Manhattan studio, where Larry, a skilled musician, saw Teresa as "the one" during a singing contest. United by a shared musical sensibility, their connection deepened over the years. Despite a decade spent playing with Levon Helm's band, it took time for them to embrace their natural duo status.
"All This Time" marks their fourth album, reflecting a more intuitive and mature expression of their identity. The songs, like "Desert Island Dreams" and "Ride With Me," burst with the joy of love, while others acknowledge its humbling power. The album is notably influenced by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Larry battling the virus and Teresa nursing her father in remote Tennessee. The lyrics serve as love letters born from a challenging period, expressing sentiments like, "When you told me that you need me/ After all we’ve been through/ I still think about the love we have to give/ I think about you." The couple's musical journey, intertwined with life's ups and downs, showcases a love that withstands the test of time.
